Tour overview

This Luxury Tanzania Mini Safari visits two of the most revered parks in Africa. The animals you will get to see include the BIG 5, many ungulates among other animals and bird species. The Great Wildebeest Migration occurs yearly from the Serengeti between the months of April and June. This spectacle draws many wildlife enthusiasts to witness the seventh wonder of the world. Your stay will be in luxury lodges for maximum comfort.

Day 1: From Arusha to Ngorongoro

Pick up from your hotel/residence in Arusha and journey to Ngorongoro Crater, arriving for a game drive. This Crater is one of the major attractions around the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, among many others. Break briefly for picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site, then resume the safari until evening. Due to some conservation efforts, population of the Black Rhino has increased and they can now be seen on the crater floor. Dinner and an overnight stay at your Lodge.

Day 2: The Serengeti

Set out to Serengeti after taking breakfast then take lunch on arrival at Serengeti. Afterwards head on a safari drive guided by your driver to enjoy an afternoon packed with wildlife action. The Serengeti has a healthy number of lions and it actually leads with the highest concentration of these apex predators. The often elusive leopard can also be spotted in this park as well as cheetahs, endangered African wild dog and hyenas. Dinner and an overnight stay at your Lodge.

Day 3: Traversing the Serengeti

Spend this day having a good time spotting animals in the expansive park. The dry season of June to October is the best for general game viewing especially since wildlife come together at water spots to drink and cool off. In the mid-afternoon there will be a small leisure break to take lunch at your lodge, after which you will carry on with game viewing. Bird watching is also a delight in this park, as there are around 500 resident and migratory bird species on average. Some of the most critically endangered vulture species finds refuge in this park as well. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Back to Arusha

Following breakfast, head out for the final safari drive inside the Serengeti Park until mid-morning, after which you will depart to Arusha with sweet memories to savor and share back home with friends and family.
