The destinations featured in this Short Tanzania Wilderness Trip are brimming with wildlife on every corner. You will encounter most of the big game animals along the way among other bird species. Your stay in all the locations will be in luxury lodges to provide a great all-round experience. Your tour guide is one of the best so he will teach you many things about the wildlife’s natural habitat and about the locations themselves.

Day 1: From Arusha to Lake Manyara

Start off your safari from your hotel in Arusha, and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for the first game drive in the afternoon. This park boasts a splendid road network which contributes to the beauty of the topography visible as you drive around spotting wildlife like buffalo, elephant and even the lesser flamingo. Tree climbing lions dwell here as well, though they can be spotted with a bit of luck. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 2: To Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro Crater arriving in time to set about on a safari game drive on the crater floor in the afternoon. Take a break for picnic lunch to be served at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Afterwards proceed with tracking wildlife, all the renowned big five are easily spotted here on top of other animals like cheetah, gazelle, zebra, spotted hyena plus many more. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 3: To Tarangire then back to Arusha

Leave to Tarangire arriving in good time to tour this glorious park where you will encounter various sceneries and eye-catching sites. This is a perfect birding destination and the scenic baobab trees make the landscape particularly interesting. Afterwards in the afternoon leave for a drive back to Arusha where you will arrive in the late afternoon with good safari memories to share back home with friends and family.
