This is a reasonably long Family Safari Holiday tour that covers picturesque destinations that are worthy to be in your bucket-list. The feeling of an African safari is best expressed in this tour as you traverse Kenya hopping from one destination to the next. The number of animals and birds you will get to see is not to be underestimated, since these parks are brimming with various flora and fauna. Kenya is best known for exclusive safari adventures and cultural experiences, and this is one of them.

Day 1: From Nairobi to Amboseli

Set on a journey from your hotel/residence in Nairobi to Amboseli passing through scenic landscapes and local homesteads occupied by colorful Masai tribesmen. On arrival at the camp in Amboseli, have lunch and some rest then afterward invade the elephants’ turf inside the park. You will see many of these beautiful giants roaming around solo or in herds. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Traversing Amboseli

Spend this day roaming the park on the lookout for wildlife that abide in the area. The savannah and woodland habitats of the park harbors the leopard, lion, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, mongoose, lesser kudu, wild dogs and the porcupine. You will be served lunch in the park and later proceed with the safari. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: To Lake Naivasha

Leave Amboseli after breakfast for a drive to Lake Naivasha (lunch will be served en route to Naivasha). Upon arriving visit Hell’s Gate National Park which has disparate activities to indulge in, including bicycle riding, boat riding, swimming, bird-watching and walking. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Bogoria

Set out to Lake Bogoria following breakfast and after arrival embark on a safari of the lake (lunch will be served on the way to Bogoria). The high alkalinity of the water means there is presence of algae which attracts many lesser flamingos to the area that feed on them. Bogoria also has more than 370 species of other birds, a high population of greater kudu and a small number of Patas monkeys. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru

Set off to Lake Nakuru for a safari drive to explore the beauty of its wildlife and topography. Along the shores thousands of flamingos are often roaming around feeding on the blue-green algae that grow inside the waters of the lake. Black and white rhinos are the magnificent beasts that you won’t miss while you are here, among leopards, lions, buffalo and other animals and birds. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Hello Masai Mara!

Check out of Nakuru as you drive to Masai Mara where you will arrive in time for lunch at your Camp. Afterwards go on a safari drive inside park which has plenty of attractions to marvel at. The big five is one of the main attractions to this area which you could get quite lucky to see. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Traversing Masai Mara

Spend this day traversing the vast savannah plains of the Mara. A rather wild happening in this destination is the Great Wildebeest Migration that occurs between July and September. If you’re incredibly lucky you could witness this wonder of the world while on safari. Lunch will be served in the park next to the Mara River then afterward continue with the safari. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Back to Nairobi

Head on a safari drive preceding breakfast where you will get to see animals as they awake from sleep in the beautiful rising sun. Afterwards return to the camp for mid-morning breakfast. Pack up your stuff, then it’s time to head back to Nairobi after this exciting odyssey.
