Day 1: From Nairobi to Samburu

Departing from your hotel/residence in Nairobi, head north to Samburu arriving after a few hours’ drive then check in at the camp/lodge. Have lunch as you relax for a while then afterward head to the park for a safari drive spotting wildlife prevalent in this unique area. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Inside Samburu

Spend this day in the park on the lookout for Samburu’s special 5. You could hardly come by these animals in any other park in Kenya other than here, that’s why it’s held in high esteem by enthusiast wildographers. You will have a packed meal inside the park for lunch then proceed for the drive until evening. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Aberdare

Following breakfast, leave Samburu for a drive to Aberdare, arriving in time for lunch at the Treetops Lodge, a majestic accommodation with a catchy backstory (you’ll get to learn more about it while you’re there). After some relaxing and lunch, head to the park for some game viewing. The area has beautiful sceneries to feed your eyes topping with graceful views of herds of elephants. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru

Final safari drive in the morning at Aberdare, then proceed on a journey to Lake Nakuru. Check in at the hotel after arrival in Nakuru and proceed for a safari drive inside the park. You’ll get to see how a pink swathe is formed by the millions of flamingos that frequent this destination. Hippos and crocodiles are also easily seen at the lake as well as other animals lying around. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Hello Masai Mara!

Embark on a journey to Masai Mara after breakfast, making it in time for lunch at your Camp. After some rest, set out to the park for a safari drive getting to see most of the big five, or all of them if you get tremendously lucky. Native wildebeest, lion, buffalo, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, impala, zebra, baboon, warthog and other animals are easily seen. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Traversing Masai Mara

This day you will spend roaming the vast savannah grasslands of the Mara which has quite charming landscapes for photography lovers. Between the months of July and September you could get to witness one of the wonders of the world, wildebeest migration which is a really wild spectacle. Lunch will be served close to the Mara River then proceed with the safari. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Back to Nairobi

Embark on a morning safari drive preceding breakfast for a final feel of the wild, then return to the camp for mid-morning breakfast. Bid Masai Mara goodbye as you drive back to Nairobi with good memories to share back home.
