This Kenya Wildlife Encounters adventure into the most renowned parks in all of Africa will quench your thirst for something special in Kenya. These prestigious destinations have a lot to offer visually as well as activities to take part in. Setting off from Nairobi the first stop is Masai Mara, a wildlife haven that has been documented by big companies like National Geographic. Second stop is a gorgeous lake pervaded by millions of flamingos, the Lake Nakuru. Amboseli is the final stop which is popularly known as the home of the African Elephant.

Day 1: Arrival at JKIA Airport
Meet and greet by one of our Tour Representatives upon landing at JKIA Airport. You will be transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel to check in then spend the day at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel.

Day 2: David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust & Giraffe Centre
Pick up from Serena hotel by your driver guide at 9.30 am. You will visit the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage which is open for 1 hour from 11 am. Afterwards you will head to the Giraffe Centre to see the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.
At the elephant orphanage, you will be escorted to a small viewing area centred on a muddy watering hole. For the first part of the viewing, the handlers bottle-feed the baby elephants – a heartwarming sight. The baby elephants also use this designated time slot for their daily mud bath, which makes for some great photos.
You will also have a chance to hand-feed the giraffes at the giraffe centre. There is an elevated deck where you stand eye-to-eye with the giraffes and you can even pet them.
Return to your hotel in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Nairobi to Amboseli
Pick up from your hotel at 7 am for a drive to Amboseli National Park. Have lunch on arrival at your lodge. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive inside the park.
Amboseli national park is a home to a large concentration of wildlife including large herds of elephants. For bird lovers, the Park hosts birds species estimated to be more than 400 species. Animals in the park are perfectly viewed from the observation hill and at sinet delta.
Dinner and overnight will be at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 4: Full-day Amboseli National Park
After breakfast you will have morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch will be served at your lodge.
Amboseli is one of the most scenic national parks in Kenya. It is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. In the morning if the sky is clear you will have amazing views of this snow-capped mountain. The park has 5 distinct environments that range from wetlands/ swamps to Savanna and woodlands, which has supported the thriving of several wildlife species.
In the evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Amboseli to Mount Kenya
Bid Amboseli goodbye after breakfast as you drive to Mount Kenya. You will stop for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi. Continue your drive and arrive at Fairmont Club in the late afternoon.
The Fairmont Hotel is nestled in the rolling foothills of Kenya’s highest mountain, set in 100 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with spectacular views of Mount Kenya.

Day 6: Full-day Mount Kenya
After breakfast, spend the day indulging in the activities available at the hotel.
You can visit the animal orphanage located at the entrance of Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy. You will learn more about wildlife and help in the conservation of the critically endangered Mountain Bongo. Other optional activities include horse riding, golf and tennis.

Day 7: Mount Kenya to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart Mount Kenya in the morning after breakfast for a drive to Ol Pejeta. On arrival visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary then have lunch at Sweetwaters Serena Camp. In the afternoon you will have a game drive in the conservancy.
The Sweetwater’s chimpanzee sanctuary has been home to orphaned chimpanzees since 1993 and has provided a natural environment to the non-indigenous species within an island on the park. Chimpanzees that arrive at the sanctuary are nursed to health and released into the conservancy.
In the evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Full-day Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Have breakfast at your lodge then morning and afternoon game drives, with lunch break at your lodge.
Ol Pejeta conservancy is home to the Big Five, as well as endangered species like the African wild dog, cheetah and oryx, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, and Jackson’s hartebeest. Alongside these you'll find giraffes, baboons, hippos and hyenas. The endangered species enclosure is the only area of the park that is fenced off for the animals. Here you'll find white and black rhinos that have to be monitored around the clock to protect them from poaching.

Day 9: Ol Pejeta to Hell's Gate National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, depart to Lake Naivasha. Check in and have lunch on arrival at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. After relaxing at the lodge you will visit Hell’s gate in the afternoon. Optional activities available include hiking, cycling and rock climbing.
The natural geographic formations found at the Hell's gate national park i.e., Fisher Tower, Obsidian Caves, and the Ol Jorowa Gorge and the adjacent Mt Longonot led to the spectacular landscapes. The Park is a biodiversity hotspot in the middle of an extremely important geothermal field hence supporting the production of green energy.

Day 10: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
This morning you have an option of doing a boat ride to the Crescent Island. Lunch at Naivasha Sopa Resort, then depart to Lake Nakuru in the afternoon. On arrival, have en route game drive to your lodge located inside the park.
Crescent Island is located in the middle of Lake Naivasha with miles of walking trails and abundant wildlife that provides a 360-degree view of Mt. Longonot to Hell’s Gate to the Mau escarpment to Eburu and onto the Aberdares, the view simply blows your mind.
In the evening have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 11: Full-day Lake Nakuru National Park
In the morning have breakfast, then morning and afternoon game drives – breaking for lunch at your lodge.
The lake is primarily well known for its many species of aquatic birds more especially the vast numbers of the pink flamingos. It is a habitat to over 100 endangered Rhinos distributed between the black and white rhinos; the park is also home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and other 50 or more animal species that include buffalos, waterbucks, lions, impalas and many more.
Back to the lodge in the evening.

Day 12: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Have breakfast at your hotel then depart to Masai Mara. Arrive in good time for lunch then followed by an afternoon of game viewing inside the park.
The Masai Mara features a stunning kaleidoscope of wild and rugged landscapes, warm and welcoming people and an exciting array of creatures – big and small. Large numbers of Lions, Cheetah, Elephant, Rhino, African Buffalo, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra and many more animals are found in the park in their natural habitat, unconfined and free to roam the vast Kenyan wilderness stretching for miles on end.
Drive back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Full-day Masai Mara
Have breakfast then full-day game drive in the park with packed lunch. You also have the option for a morning and afternoon game drive, with lunch break at your lodge. We can arrange a balloon safari on this day at extra cost.
In the evening dinner and overnight at Serena Lodge.

Day 14: Masai Mara - Masai village experience
After breakfast, head into the park for a morning of game viewing until lunch time. In the afternoon there will be an optional visit to the Masai village, or afternoon game drive.
For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun birds.

Day 15: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Have breakfast at your lodge then bid Masai Mara goodbye as you drive back to Nairobi. On arrival there will be lunch reserved for you at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. After delicious lunch you will be dropped off at your city hotel/JKIA Airport depending on your flight timings.
