Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

Departing from your hotel/residence in Nairobi, head north to Samburu arriving after a few hours’ drive then check in at your lodge. Have lunch as you relax for a while then afterward head to the park for a safari drive spotting wildlife prevalent in this unique area. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Inside Samburu

Spend this day in the park on the lookout for Samburu’s special 5. You could hardly come by these animals in any other park in Kenya other than here, that’s why it’s held in high esteem by enthusiast wildographers. You will have a packed meal inside the park for lunch then proceed for the drive until evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Aberdare

Following breakfast, leave Samburu for a drive to Aberdare, arriving in time for lunch at the your Lodge. After some relaxing and lunch, head to the park for some game viewing. The area has beautiful scenery to feed your eyes topping with graceful views of herds of elephants. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru

Final safari drive in the morning at Aberdare, then proceed on a journey to Lake Nakuru. Check in at your lodge after arrival in Nakuru and proceed for a safari drive inside the park. You’ll get to see how a pink swathe is formed by the millions of flamingos that frequent this destination. Hippos and crocodiles are also easily seen at the lake as well as other animals lying around. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Hello Masai Mara

Embark on a journey to Masai Mara after breakfast, making it in time for lunch at your lodge. After some rest, set out to the park for a safari drive getting to see most of the big five, or all of them if you get tremendously lucky. Native wildebeest, lion, buffalo, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, impala, zebra, baboon, warthog and other animals are easily seen. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Traversing Masai Mara

This day you will spend roaming the vast savannah grasslands of the Mara which has quite charming landscapes for photography lovers. Between the months of July and September you could get to witness one of the wonders of the world, wildebeest migration which is a really wild spectacle. Lunch will be served close to the Mara River then proceed with the safari. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Returning to Nairobi

Embark on a morning safari drive preceding breakfast for a final feel of the wild, then return to the lodge for mid-morning breakfast. Bid Masai Mara goodbye as you drive back to Nairobi with good memories. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 8 and 9: Nairobi National Park

In this park you will spend half a day enjoying a safari game drive with beautiful city views in the background. The park is essentially just like Masai Mara but inside the city. Although elephants are not found here due to limited space which they require, the rest of the big five can be spotted. In the following morning’s visit to David Sheldrick Animal Orphanage you will get a chance to see both adult and young elephants. Also pay a visit to Giraffe Centre where you can feed the beautiful creatures, and later the Karen Blixen Museum, where you will get to find out about Kenya’s colonial past.

Day 10 and 11: Tsavo East and West

After departing your hotel in Nairobi head southward to Tsavo National Parks, which are split by the Nairobi-Mombasa road and railway. On safari drive in the parks you will see incredible attractions like Mzima Springs and Lake Jipe, also the parks are rich in wildlife. Tsavo East has a vibrant volcanic arena of molten lava which forms ‘Shetani lava’. Accommodation will be at your lodge.

Day 12 and 13: Amboseli

On reaching the home of the elephants, Amboseli, embark on a safari in the park. Large herds of elephants are easily spotted as they vagabond in a calm and relaxed manner. Besides the usual impala and gazelle, you will see hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and also hippos hiding in the water. Accommodation will be at your lodge.

Day 14: To the Sandy Beach

Head on a morning game drive in the park to spot animals you had missed the previous day, then return for mid-morning breakfast. Afterwards depart to Mombasa with sweet safari memories (You will have lunch en route to Mombasa). On arrival check in at Indian Ocean Beach Resort, then have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 15-21: Explore the Beach, then back to Nairobi

You will have a chance to explore the native Swahili people’s cultural heritage, a quite unique and fascinating one. There is a lot to discover from this culture as you will get to learn much from once you start touring. Some of the numerous activities to indulge in at the beach include: swimming, jetskiing, boat riding among many others. Fort Jesus is a worthwhile place to visit; it has a dark history of battle from the colonial times of the British. It’s now well-known to be a quiet, relaxed place ever since it was abandoned. Another great place is the bombolulu workshop, a large rehabilitation center. On the final day after breakfast, take your leave back to Nairobi with sweet holiday memories.
