Day 1: From Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Starting from your hotel/residence in Nairobi, head to Masai Mara stopping shortly at The Great Rift Valley and Narok Town. After a few hour’s drive arrive at your Camp in Masai Mara then have lunch. Proceed for a safari drive in the park with your Guide who will tell you more about the park as you roam inside. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Traversing the Mara

This day you will roam the vast plains of the Masai Mara which is quite expansive, so much so that even in a full day drive you can’t cover all of it. Even so, you will get to see most of the big five, wildebeests, buffalo, hyena, cheetah, antelope, warthog (pumba), zebra, and many other animals. It will also be worthwhile for bird lovers, with more than 500 bird species inhabiting the area. Lunch will be served close to the Mara River then proceed with the drive. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: To Lake Nakuru

Head on a safari drive preceding breakfast, with a great opportunity to spot animals as they wake up in the rising sun. You will also see some animals you didn’t get to see the previous days, then return to the camp for mid-morning breakfast. Subsequently leave the Mara to journey to Lake Nakuru (Lunch will be served en route to Nakuru). On arrival, check in at the hotel in Nakuru, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: To Amboseli

Spend the morning inside Nakuru Park observing wildlife inhabiting the area, among which are the beautiful flamingos. They visit the shores of the lake in millions to feed on the algae that grown on the bottom of the lake. Black and white rhinos are also easily seen as well as leopards, hyenas, lions, among other birds and animals. Leave the park, having lunch along the way to Amboseli. Arrive in the evening and check in at the camp, to have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Home of the Elephants

Embark on a safari in the park to traverse the land of the African Elephant. Large herds of elephants are easily spotted as they vagabond in a calm and relaxed manner. Besides the usual impala and gazelle, you will see hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and also hippos hiding in the water. Lunch will be served in the park then proceed with the drive until evening. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: To Tsavo West

Head on a morning safari drive handing you an opportunity to have extraordinary views of the roof of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. Wrap up the safari in the mid-morning and have breakfast, then depart to Tsavo West (You will have lunch en route). On arrival in the afternoon, proceed on a safari drive in the park where you will get to see incredible attractions like Mzima Springs and Lake Jipe. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: To Tsavo East

Spend the morning on a safari drive in the park, which is a glorious experience because of the good road network inside. The park is rich in wildlife as well, also with a vibrant volcanic arena of molten lava forming ‘Shetani lava’. Subsequently leave to Tsavo East arriving in the afternoon (You will have lunch en route). Proceed for a safari drive in the park, spotting birds and wildlife along the way. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: The Sandy Beach

Head on a morning game drive in the park to spot animals you had missed the previous day, then return for mid-morning breakfast. Afterwards depart to Mombasa with sweet safari memories (You will have lunch en route to Mombasa). On arrival check in at Indian Ocean Beach Resort, then have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: The Beach

Following breakfast, explore the native Swahili people’s cultural heritage, a quite unique and fascinating one. There is a lot to discover from this culture as you will get to learn much from it. You will have lunch at the beach, then afterwards indulge in the beach’s numerous activities; swimming, jetskiing, boat riding, birdwatching and many others. Return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: The Beach

Visit Fort Jesus in the morning, which has a dark history of battle from the colonial times of the British. Even though that’s the case, now it’s well known to be a quiet, relaxed place since it was abandoned. In the afternoon you will visit other historical as well as cultural sites that have been present since colonial times too. One of the places you will visit is the Bombolulu workshop; one of the largest rehabilitation centers in Kenya. In the evening return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: The Beach

Spend this day enjoying and relaxing in the beach. You will do more exploring in Fort Jesus, discovering the weapons which were used in past times by the natives to defend the fort from foreign invasions. In the evening return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Back to Nairobi
