As extensive as this Real African Adventure tour is, the delights within this itinerary are quite plentiful. It covers many of the destinations an enthusiastic tourist would be interested in. Touring Kenya is not fully enjoyable without a sight of the pink swathe formed at Lake Nakuru by the flamingos, not to mention the big five at Masai Mara. Also very alluring is the Samburu’s special 5, which consist of the Grevy’s zebra, long-necked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and Beisa oryx. All of these destinations have many eye-catching sights to enjoy while on the safari with other wanderlust tourists.

Day 1: From Nairobi to Masai Mara
Set out to Masai Mara from your hotel/residence in Nairobi at 7.30 am, having two quick stopovers at The Great Rift Valley and Narok Town. After a substantial drive, check in at your Camp to have lunch then you’ll have time for rest. Subsequently proceed to the park for a safari drive where you will get to see the beautiful topography and serene environment of the Mara. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Traversing Masai Mara
Following breakfast, your Guide will drive you into the park to enjoy a full day exploring this extensive wildlife sanctuary. Most of the wildlife that you will get to see are lions, wildebeests, hyenas, cheetahs, buffalo, elephants, gazelles, secretary birds, hippos, among many others. Lunch will be served close to the Mara River, the famously documented river where migrating wildebeests from Serengeti cross. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Village Experience
In the morning after breakfast you will continue your safari drive having another chance to spot animals you didn’t get to see the previous two days. In the afternoon after lunch you have an option of returning to the camp and visit the masai village or have a nature walk with masai guides. Your Tour Guide will receive your opinions so that he can take you where you wish. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 4: To Lake Nakuru
Take a trip to Lake Nakuru after breakfast, to arrive after a few hours’ drive (lunch will be served en route to Nakuru). On arrival check in at the hotel and have a brief rest. Proceed into the park with your Guide, where there is a perfect chance to spot the magnificent giants, rhinos. These wonderful creatures are incredibly rare that’s why having to see them is a great opportunity. Flamingos are also a wonderful sight to behold, drawing naturalists and photographers from all over the world to document about them. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: To Samburu
Spend the morning inside Nakuru Park observing wildlife inhabiting the area, among which are the beautiful flamingos. They visit the shores of the lake in millions to feed on the algae that grown on the bottom of the lake. Black and white rhinos are also easily seen as well as leopards, hyenas, lions, among other birds and animals. Leave the park, having lunch along the way to Samburu. Arrive in the evening then check in at the camp, and if time permits, have an evening drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6: Inside Samburu
Spend this day in the park on the lookout for Samburu’s special 5. You could hardly come by these animals in any other park in Kenya other than here, that’s why it’s held in high esteem by enthusiast wildographers. You will have a packed meal inside the park for lunch then proceed for the drive until evening. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: To Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Commence your journey to Ol Pejeta after enjoying and savoring the moments in Samburu. You will pass through Mt. Kenya base arriving at your destination to have lunch after checking in at the camp. Afterwards, proceed into the sanctuary to check out some of the chimpanzees as well as the indigenous northern white rhinos. Later have dinner and overnight at your tented camp.

Day 8: Amboseli
Leave the conservancy in the morning, journeying through the central highlands (lunch en route). On arrival, drive into the park with your Tour Guide to have a splendid view of Amboseli’s beauty including lions, cheetahs, spotted hyena, cape buffalo, masai giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, impala, leopard among many other animals and birds (game drive on this day only if time allows). In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Home of the Elephants
Embark on a safari in the park to traverse the land of the African Elephant. Large herds of elephants are easily spotted as they vagabond in a calm and relaxed manner. Besides the usual impala and gazelle, you will see hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and also hippos hiding in the water. Lunch will be served in the park then proceed with the drive until evening. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: To Tsavo West
Head on a morning safari drive handing you an opportunity to have extraordinary views of the roof of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. Wrap up the safari in the mid-morning and have breakfast, then depart to Tsavo West (You will have lunch en route). On arrival in the afternoon, proceed on a safari drive in the park where you will get to see incredible attractions like Mzima Springs and Lake Jipe. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: To Tsavo East
Spend the morning on a safari drive in the park, which is a glorious experience because of the good road network inside. The park is rich in wildlife as well, also with a vibrant volcanic arena of molten lava forming ‘Shetani lava’. Subsequently leave to Tsavo East arriving in the afternoon (You will have lunch en route). Proceed for a safari drive in the park, spotting birds and wildlife along the way. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Back to Nairobi
Head on a morning game drive in the park to spot animals you had missed the previous day, then embark on a journey back to Nairobi with good memories to share back home with friends and family.
