Best of Tanzania’s Wildlife. The Serengeti is home to one of nature’s greatest and largest animal migrations. More than 1.5 million white bearded wildebeest and 250,000 zebras take part in the 1000km journey in search of greener pastures, which makes the park full of clout all year round. Tarangire on the other hand, is a park for those who want to step that much further off the beaten track to experience a truly wild area. The African wild dog, kudu, oryx and gerenuk, rarely found in other parks in the northern circuit, can also be found here, along with arguably the best bird diversity in Africa. Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara are also one of the popular safari locations in Tanzania, and are scenic, wildlife rich locations which form the northern safari circuit.

Day 1: From Arusha to Lake Manyara
Your Tour Guide will pick you from your hotel in Arusha then head to Lake Manyara National Park where you will arrive to have lunch before going on a safari drive inside the park. The lake has plenty of elephants, wildebeests along with so many giraffes, and buffaloes which you will have the chance to see. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater arriving around noon to take lunch. Thereafter you will descend 2000 ft into the crater floor to observe this world's largest intact volcanic caldera and home to the highest density of big game in Africa including black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazers. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 3: Serengeti
Depart Ngorongoro and set off to Serengeti, where you will have lunch on arrival. Enjoy an afternoon game drive after lunch, where there is the highest concentration of large mammals in the world, so you're bound to spot giraffes, elephants, hippos and, of course, lions. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 4: Traversing the Serengeti
Spend this full day tracking animals in this vast game reserve. The Serengeti is renowned for its large lion population and is one of the best places to observe prides in their natural environment, and is home to the world's largest movement of animals, often called the “Great Migration.” The Serengeti plains are flat with dotted acacia trees that makes one able to see as far as he can with no interference. Dinner and overnight in your camp.

Day 5: Tarangire
Drive to Tarangire after breakfast having lunch en route. The key attraction that has made the Tarangire NP to become internationally popular is its largest elephant population which is actually considered to be the highest in the whole of Tanzania. This park also offers habitat to plenty of wildlife like zebras, kudu, rhino, hartebeest buffalo and other smaller mammals. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Back to Arusha
After breakfast go on the final game drive inside the park and leave Tarangire to Arusha arriving in the afternoon with good memories to share back home with friends and family.
